As our Data Technician Apprentice, you’ll help us build the future of this inspiring charity and make a genuine difference to people’s lives.
The role will sit within the operations team and support both the current administration and data teams.
British Liver Trust is both values-driven and data-driven, with our data being used to inform and improve our service delivery and our fundraising. The apprenticeship will provide you with strong technical knowledge as well as the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
The Data Technician will also be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and integrity, creating and/or updating databases and providing technical support as needed.
Key responsibilities:
Carrying out data analysis Creating and interpreting reports and documents Maintaining and updating databases Assisting with data collection Ensuring data accuracy Creating visualisations of data Working towards completing the Level 3 Data Technician qualification Support admin colleagues with ad-hoc tasks Liaise with internal teams to deliver work to agreed timelines and specificationEssential skills, characteristics and experience:
Experience of using a database and excel Proficient with Microsoft applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Ability to prioritise a varied workload Ability to learn new systems and processes quicklyTraining:
During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with LearnTech, delivered through combined weekly remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the Level 3 Data Technician standard.

Training Outcome:
This is a fixed term position for 2 years, with the potential to become a permanant position after successful completion of the apprenticeship
