Welcoming children into the nursery setting Handover to the child’s family about their day Preparing snack alongside the children Supporting children's hygiene routines i.e. nappy changing Creating fun activities Attending external outings like Forest School or trips to the farm Becoming a key person; uploading observations, planning activities to help their development and giving feedback to their families Supervising children in the nursery environment; indoors and outdoors Updating online nursery software / parent communications app

Training:

Workplace training will take place in our nursery setting in Great Bardfield. Training will be delivered online. A training agreement will be in place with the training provider. This will include weekly lessons in the beginning and then observations and check ins during practical working times.

Training Outcome:

To continue as an early years educator training in other skills. 

Employer Description:
Outstanding Day Nursery setting. Accredited Montessori philosophy excellently installed throughout the nursery setting. Small day nursery, taking up to 40 children per day. High ratios, experienced and qualified staff team of 20. Lots of outings with the children visiting local farm, park and village. Everyday is different with freedom of choice within our Montessori classes. No complaints. Everyone is very happy.

Working Hours :
4 days per week. 9:00am-5:00pm 51 weeks of the year
