Painting & Decorating Apprenticeship L2

An average day would include preparing surfaces for decoration and applying paint by brush and roller wallpapering surfaces Tasks include keeping the work area clean and tidy, liaising with colleagues and customers The employer expects you to be committed to achieving the level 2 apprenticeship standard

Training:

You will obtain the Painting & Decorating Standard at Level 2.

You will be expected to attend training at our Bristol centre on a block week basis during college term time.

On Site Bristol (www.onsitebristol.co.uk) is a long-established training provider in Bristol and is part of Bristol City Council's Employment, Skills and Learning team providing a range of unique additional support to apprentices and their employers. You will have a dedicated Training Officer to support your progress towards this highly skilled career.

Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to attempt this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment.

Functional Skills in maths and English, if required. 



Training Outcome:

Once qualified painter & decorators have a range of sustainable career options open to them.  



Employer Description:
On Site Bristol have several employers looking to recruit P&D apprentices throughout the Bristol and surrounding areas.

Working Hours :
40-hours per week Monday to Friday. There may be opportunities of overtime for any apprentice over the age of 18. May also include shifts, working hours TBC
