This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a Business Development / New Business / Sales Development background to join a market leading provider of insurance products to the automotive sector.
This role will offer you the backing of an established brand coupled with a solid onboarding and training process.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced salesperson to join an established business, with full autonomy to manage your region.

Full product training and on-going support will be provided.

Midlands - Ideal locations – Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Rugby, Nuneaton, Leicester, Loughborough, Warwick, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Sutton Coldfield, Cannock, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Droitwich, Stratford-upon-Avon
Basic salary £32k + uncapped commission (typical OTE around £50k) + car + phone + laptop
The Candidate
This role requires a driven, tenacious individual with a desire to succeed, you should be new business focussed with:

A proven sales background – ideally with a New Business element
First class communication and negotiation
The ability to build a rapport and turn prospects into long-term clients.
Excellent planning skills coupled with time and territory management.
Able to handle rejections and take a firm but fair approach with customers.
Computer literate with a proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The Role

Develop a growth strategy to maximise sales in the Midlands region.
Identify, secure and nurture new customer partnerships.
Build long term relationships with new and existing customers.
Promote the companies’ products and services by addressing or predicting the clients’ objectives.
Support customers and provide training where necessary.
