Toolroom Apprentice

Daily duties/tasks:

Tool maker Electrical work Assembly Machine repairs Work with a variety of toolroom equipment such as CNC mills, CNC EDM, and general machine equipment, (this list is not exhaustive) Apply knowledge and experience to tooling situations Perform independently and use experience to guide work Maintain and promote a safe and clean work environment Support Production Department as required

Training:
Engineering Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard 1 day release to Derwentside College (Starting September)

Training Outcome:
Potential progression onto the Level 3 Machining Apprenticeship

Employer Description:
Plastic injection mouldings and assembly, supported by a full project engineering function. We take programs from CAD models to mass production, supporting the customer throughout.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.30pm and Friday, 8.00am - 2.00pm
