Apprentice Design Manager

Preconstruction:

Work closely with the estimating and commercial team
Review enquiry documents Liaise with internal departments ensuring programming and cost management are aligned with design development Support in managing the progress of design issues within a strict timescale and ensure designers meet information delivery dates Attend design meetings Input into risk meetings

Construction Stages:

Support in producing and monitoring a design procurement programme Maintain a drawing and specification register as designs develop Monitor any design issues on the project risk register Monitor the information release schedule

Training:

Construction Design and Build Technician Level 4.  

One day per week at college On site learning with other Design Managers

Training Outcome:

Design and Build Level 6 Degree.

Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
