Apprentice Level 3 HGV Technician

Learning the Fundementals of Heavy Vehicle Technologies covering Chassis, Braking, Engine, Transmissions and Emmisions Control systems, Electrical systems testing and diagnosis.

Work alongside a fully qualified technican.

Gaining an understanding of HGV Legal and Safety requirements and Vehicle operator Licencing.

Learning how to correctly and safely maintain and repair vehicles from a range of different manufacturers.

Completing jobcards and service paperwork in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy.

Liase with the parts department to identify and order parts.

Training:

Training will be on day release to Exeter College, Hele Road, Exeter, Devon EX4 4JS.

Training Outcome:

Full Employment as a skilled HGV Technican.

Monday to Friday, 8.00 - 17.30
