Client & Investor Support Manager/ Executive

Job Description:

Our client is looking for an individual experienced in team management to take on their Client & Investor Support Manager vacancy.
The Client & Investor Support Team assist fund managers/ general partners by carrying out the day-to-day operational administration of unregulated private equity funds (among other types of funds), from fund inception to wind up.

Key to providing an effective service is developing strong relationships with clients and using your experience to meet their individual needs.

Managing a team
Proficient in word and excel
Able to create reports using information from multiple data sources
Proficient and comfortable working with numbers
Effective communicator and team player
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and organised
Good time management skills/work well under pressure and ability to prioritise
Experience in working in a busy office environment
Knowledge of AML and KYC processes and regulation

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Knowledge of standard fund structures an advantage (LPs/LLPs)

Core Responsibilities:

Management duties

Working with another Manager and Associate Director to manage, on a day-to-day basis the workload, performance and output of the CIS Executive team (currently 5)

Checking/reviewing, as per internal processes, output of the CIS executives to detect any errors/ommissions
Assistance with ongoing training and mentoring of the team

Fund administration

Dealing with general investor queries
Create and maintain investor registers (including dealing with transfers and deaths)
Compiling and issuing investor correspondence including tax information, investor updates, drawdowns and distributions
Helping to ensure the fund operates as per the fund agreement


Undertaking KYC checks on clients/investors as per Money Laundering Regulations 2017.

This involves liaising with investors to obtain the necessary KYC/KYB information and completing a risk assessment, as well as escalations where appropriate.
Undertake AEOI (FATCA/CRS) filings including obtaining relevant information from clients/investors, analysing data and making required submission on online IRS/HMRC portal.

Keep up to date in any changes in AEOI regulation.
