Apprentice Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Engineer
Attending College to gain City & Guilds Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
Work alongside experienced Engineers within Space Engineering.
Shadowing and assisting engineers on preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
Establishing the ability to confidently diagnose and rectify equipment breakdowns.
Maintaining a portfolio to demonstrate continual progression.
Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way.
Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way.
Working safely in line with health and safety procedures.
Learn different processes.
Ensuring all work is completed on time and of a good standard.
Training:
All apprentices will attend The City of Liverpool College on a block release programme for 3 years. On completion of your programme you will receive a Level 3 award in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Technologies, and your F-Gas qualification.
Apprentices without maths and English will attend Level 2 Functional Skills alongside their apprenticeship programme.
Training Outcome:
At the end of the programme, you will have the necessary skills and qualifications for progressing towards a Refrigeration Engineer role.

Working Hours :
Typically Monday to Friday but some overtime and weekend work may be required. Exact shifts to be confirmed.
