Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprentice
Apprentices will be placed in either our Assembly & Test or Aftermarket teams. There will be the opportunity to rotate across all areas for greater exposurer.
During the day-to-day you can expect the following:
Foundational knowledge and application of Health and Safety priniciples Foundational knowledge and interpretation of engineering drawings Hands on experience assembling fuel pump components in line with Standard Operating Procedures Hands on experience repairing fuel pump components Engagement with the full product lifecycle across siteTraining:
The standard hours of work are 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday - 7.30am - 4.15pm. Friday, 7.30am - 11.30am. Your formal training will be provided through CEMAST, Fareham College one day per week (day TBC). The remainder of your training will be carried out in the workplace.
Training Outcome:
It is anticipated that after you finish your apprenticeship, you will apply for a permanent role in the area you have been training in. As a big site however, there are many other avenues such as Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain that you may wish to further pursue. There may also be the opportunity to apply for a further Degree Apprenticeship in Engineering.

The Titchfield site forms part of Eaton's Aerospace Industrial sector. This role will be within the Fuel Motions Control Division.
Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 4.15pm. Friday, 7.30am - 11.30am.
