CNC Machinist Apprentice
Day to day tasks include:
Assist experienced machinists in operating a variety of machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, CNC machines) Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and schematics including customer drawings Measure and inspect parts using precision tools such as micrometres and gauges Learn to set up machines, load materials and adjust parameters for precision cutting and shaping Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools Monitor machine operations, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and solve machining issues Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment Complete all training with In-CommTraining:
This is a 4 year Level 3 Machinist Apprenticeship, with the first 9 months being full time at the training provider, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG Level 3 Extended diploma in Machining (Development Knowledge) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Machining) (Development Technical Knowledge)

Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there will be a full time position available with opportunity for progression.
