Learn how to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Be trained on how to assemble a range of control panels Learn how to inspect and test components Learn how to maintain control panels, machines and equipment Learn about the wiring of panels and how to diagnose and rectify faults Gain a good understanding of the sector and the products and services supplied by AF Switchgear Attend college and produce work of a high standard

Training:
Engineering Fitter Level 3. This programme is delivered using a day release delivery model. This requires your attendance at our engineering campus (NG17) one day per week during term time.

Training Outcome:

At the end of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a full time, permanent role. If this is the case, ongoing, sector specific training will also be required to maintain your skills in line with future developments within the role and sector.

08:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday.
