Truck Body Builder – Welding & Fabrication Apprentice
To attend college on a day release basis on an engineering & welding NVQ course
To carry out conversions and fabrication duties in line with written and verbal instructions under supervision to standards set by Company management in order to pass the appropriate quality checks
To carry out general workshop duties as and when required
To work towards the required coding standard for welders
To work in accordance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
To operate machinery and equipment in accordance with legislative guidelines and adhere to all health and safety procedures
Training:
You will attend York College 1 day per week on day release during term time
Training Outcome:
This is a full-time role, and it would be expected that the apprentice would continue to learn all aspects of our trade allowing them to take on complex projects themselves and become a valued member of our team.
Employer Description:
Trading since 1981, 60 employees. Truck body & trailer manufacturer. Shotblasting & painting of trucks/trailers. Used truck sales including exporting all over the world.
Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:15. Friday, 08:00 - 15:15.
