Are you passionate about working with wood and eager to learn the craft of carpentry? AKS Carpentry, a dynamic carpentry company based in Northampton, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the apprenticeship program. 

What We Offer:

Hands-On Training: Learn from experienced carpenters and gain practical skills on the job Mentorship: Work closely with a mentor who will guide you through each stage of your apprenticeship Diverse Projects: Get exposure to a variety of projects, mainly on large housing sites, we do all works from joist to 2nd fixing so apprentice will do joist roofs, 1st fix, 2nd fixing We do the odd one off property’s large 5/6 bed houses which offers a different kind of view of the carpentry world.

Requirements:

GCSE’s maths & English desirable not essential Basic understanding of carpentry tools and materials (preferred but not required) Good communication skills Reliable transportation to job sites (own transport beneficial)

Employer Description:
AKS Carpentry are a small carpentry company working mainly on large housing sites , completing all works from joist to 2nd fixing, so the apprentice will do joist roofs, 1st fix and 2nd fixing. AKS carpentry do the odd one off property’s large 5/6 bed houses which offers a different kind of view of the carpentry world.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:30
