Apprenticeship - Laboratory Technician - Ecotoxicology

Conducting and performing studies to high scientific standards in compliance with GLP and according to study plans, test guidelines and SOPs Maintaining the Ecotoxicology facility in accordance with Company standards Collating data and accurate data recording Participate in QC review of selected routine data Ensuring adequate supplies of stock items are maintained for study conduct Assisting with the evaluation, validation and introduction of new study types or techniques as requested Husbandry tasks

Training:
You'll undertake a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship with HNC in Applied Science over the course of 24 months You will study for a Level 4 Science Qualification alongside the apprenticeship Distance based learning  1 Week lab based residential each year

Training Outcome:
Our aim during the 2-year programme is to produce confident competent scientific technicians with the core skills to allow them to develop a career within the company We then offer the option to progress to both a Level 5 or Level 6 Degree qualification or beyond to a Masters Qualification

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm, optional overtime on weekend rota
