Childminder's Assistant Childcare Apprentice

Support the children's daily care and activities Provide the children with care and emotional support Work with the team to provide a safe and stimulating environment to meet the children's development needs Follow the safeguarding policy and ensure the children in the setting are kept safe at all times Assist with adult led activities Promote positive behaviour with the children Observe the children's individual development needs and contribute to activity planning  Support the team with cleaning up after activities Adhere to all policies and procedures Attend training sessions to complete the apprenticeship qualification

Training:

Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards an apprenticeship standard including Functional Skills if appropriate Regular work-based assessments/observations carried out by ABM Training Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards

Training Outcome:
Once you have completed this apprenticeship you will be a qualified Early Years Educator and can work with children in any Early Years settings including childminding, nurseries and pre schools You may be able to progress to a room leader position or progress to higher level qualifications

Employer Description:
I am Zehra and I run Zebra's Tots Childcare, based in Basildon. The business has been established for 12 years and is expanding so I am looking to recruit apprentices to join my current team of 3 assistants We are rated Good by OFSTED

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 10.00am - 4.00pm
