Apprentice Laboratory Technician

As an Apprentice Laboratory Technician, you will develop essential laboratory skills, receiving specialist training through an accredited training provider. On-site, you’ll work within our Quality Control team, gaining hands-on experience in testing and analysis across our manufacturing processes. Upon completion, you’ll be fully qualified to contribute to Victrex’s success as a Laboratory Technician or Quality Control Chemist.

Here’s what they do:

Conduct testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediate, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. Evaluate analytical data, identifying process deviations and trends in product quality.
Support investigations into non-conforming materials and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain laboratory equipment and consumables to ensure efficient operations. Accurately record, validate, and archive analytical data for full traceability. Depending on the role, you might also get experience working in the highly regulated medical device industry

Training:
You will complete a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship via our trusted training provider at Blackpool & the Fylde College. The duration of this Apprenticeship is approximately 24-months and if successful, you will join our 2025 Apprenticeship Intake in September.
