CNC Setter Programmer Apprentice
Day-to-day tasks include:
Daily tier meeting with the team Setting the machines and producing parts in line with the production plan Ensuring the quality of said parts is upheld to the highest standard Opportunities to suggest improvements through process changes 5S activities Be part of proactive health and safety projects across the site (MESH) Learning to set different types of CNC lathe and milling machinesTraining:
This is a four-year Level 3 Machining Technician Apprenticeship You will be required to attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, 2.5 days per week for the first 8-months, as part of the training, and the rest of the week at the company After this, you will attend the training centre 1-day per week for the remainder of the apprenticeship
Training Outcome:
Potential progression to level 4 HNC after successful completion of this apprenticeship.
