Warehousing Apprentice
Support Warehousing Manager with all warehousing tasks
Cut to length chain & build up attachment chain for customer requirements
Taking delivery of goods and supplies
Checking for damaged or missing items when checking off new arriving goods
Store goods appropriately
Pick & Pack orders for dispatch
Moving stock around by hand and using lifting equipment
Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
Input data regarding stock and inventory in to computerised system
Keep accurate stock records
Stock counts
Ensure that all lifting and manoeuving of products is carried out in accordance with manual handling safety rules
Training:
Inhouse training
No day release required
Training Outcome:
Can progress to Warehousing Supervisor
