Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Apprenticeship

Hands on learning - working on a wide range of premium handling equipment Supportive technical environment Assigned mentor for each apprentice Brand new toolbox and tooling provided Overalls, workwear and PPE supplied You will be servicing and repairing a variety of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment You will undertake on-the-job learning, shadowing and work closely with your mentor as well as in-house technical and product training

Training:
The apprentice scheme is a three-year programme. On successful completion, they will be awarded a level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Functional Skills in maths and English, if required  The Forklift Training Engineering Centre (F-TEC) is a dedicated training facility, offering an extensive range of forklift engineering programmes Training delivered on block release

Training Outcome:
Most apprentices move into full-time employment with the group as an engineer upon course completion Following this, there are a number of avenues for: sales, contract management, service management or office-based support positions
