Tool Hire Workshop Apprentice

As our workshop apprentice, you will work with a small workshop team based in our Kent depot. You will gain practical and hands-on skills working alongside our experienced workshop fitters/engineers.

What you will do at work:

Fault-finding, repair and maintenance of a wide range of small tools, equipment and plant Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment Keep up to date with the service requirements of all items in the hirefleet Ensure equipment is clean, in good order and branded accurately Adhere to Health and Safety policy and procedures and follow safe working practices.

You will be based at our Kent Depot: New Marlborough House, Arnolde Close, Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent, ME2 4QW

Training:

You will gain a Level 2 Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic qualification. The training will take place at work and at the CITB's National Construction College in Bircham, Norfolk. College attendance is completed in blocks of 1-4 weeks duration, and you will be required to travel and stay in Norfolk.

Training Outcome:

We are looking for an apprentice who wants to progress in our business, so there is real opportunity and potential for the right person upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship to work their way up in the workshop.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday - 7.30am to 4.00pm with a 30 minute break.
