Level 2 Plastic Fabrication Apprenticeship
On a day to day basis you will learn how to:
Identify and understand the strengths and weaknesses of a variety of materials Use hand tools / machines such as plastic welding guns, routers, manual millers, lathes, annealing ovens, pillar drills, and flame polishers Understand and follow engineering drawings and CAD models for projects from a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, emergency services and the car industry Fabricate – how to fabricate units following a job sheet Apply quality control and inspection procedures to ISO standards Use power tools such as angle grinders safely Recognise and apply manufacturing standards for housekeeping and maintenance Identify and manage maintenance needs for a manufacturing unitTraining Outcome:

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.30pm and Fridays, 8am to 2pm.
