Logistics Apprentice
The Logistics Apprentice will join a high-performing Operations Team of Logistics Specialists receiving a structured development program covering all aspects of Logistics and Freight Forwarding processes ‘end-to-end’.
Reporting to the Operations Team, it is to be an integral contributor to Neon’s culture and activities acting as an ambassador ensuring all Client requirements are met in full compliance with Company Policies & Procedures.
The role is intended, on successful completion of the program, to progress to assuming a key position within the Operations Team.
Duties to include;
Assist the Team with compiling KPI (Key Performance Indicator) data Assist the Team with the update of job files on the digital Freight Management System and associated hard copy documentation files. Participate in Operations & Team Meetings Receive development and training in Freight Forwarding processes including but not limited too, Quotations, Invoicing, Customs Clearance, Freight movement requirements covering Sea Freight, Air Freight and Road Freight Lead and drive own personal professional development through proactive utilization and Neon tools including but not limited to, Performance Contracts, Competency self-assessments and Individual Development Plans (IDPs) Consistently strive for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Operations excellence Complete projects as required by Operations Team Lead.Training:
International Freight Forwarding Level 3 apprenticeship
On-the-job training delivered by the employer Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end point assessment. For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement, the apprenticeship English and mathematics minimum requirement is Entry Level 3 Allocation of an apprenticeship delivery coach who will carry out regular training Assessment and support visits to ensure you acquire new learning, knowledge skills and behaviours in order to progress and develop Identify, track and support 6 hours off the job training activities Quarterly formal progress review meetings, identifying learning achievements and next stepsTraining Outcome:

Working Hours :
9 am-5 pm and half hour lunch.
