Training:

The apprenticeship follows a 3 year programme, with the first year spent off the job at CATCH in Stallingborough. This would be Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm.

The remainder of the apprenticeship is then completed onsite with the employer.

Training Outcome:

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate.

 

You will have developed a variety of interchangeable skills and have an in depth understanding of manufacturing and processes.

Employer Description:
Bacon Engineering is a 125yr old company providing engineering services to a wide range of industries. We have a Fabrication Unit and Machine Shop based at our facility in Grimsby, but also offer ‘On-Site’ services to our customers. We are members of the SCCS (ISO 9001, EN1090 Class III & EN3834 certified) and members of the Alcumus Safe Contractors Scheme.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:30hrs, Friday 08:00 – 15:00hrs. CATCH – September – July, Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm.
