Apprentice Carer
Arrive at 9am to prepare for the day
Work closely with members to enable them to take part in the full days activities
Engaging in conversation and helping with work
Assisting with medication
Assisting with eating
Helping to communicate
Training:
The apprentice will be working towards the Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard including the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Care
Apprentices will receive 1-to-1 tutor support from an assessor with tuition arranged on an individual basis
Training Outcome:
Once you have experience in health and social care, there is a large scope for employment in many of the areas covered by this, from day centres, home care, care homes and independent business.
Employer Description:
Ferriers Barn is a day centre and registered charity based in Bures, for adults with disabilities. We provide a range of activities throughout the week, arts, crafts, pottery and much more.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. We are only open 41 weeks per year.
