Preschool Practitioner Apprenticeship

Creating a fun, engaging and safe environment for the children Teaching within the EYFS requirement Partaking in a range of indoor and outdoor activities Supporting the children with a range of self-care needs such as feeding and personal hygiene Communicating with other team members and parents Working in a childcare setting with children ranging from ages 2-4 Ensuring the environment is safe Supporting children's language development To assist with meeting the personal, social and emotional needs of individual children

Training:
Level 2 - Early Years Practitioner qualification Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) Training takes place in the setting Allocated paid time away from the setting to complete course work Online training and meetings with assessor Paediatric first aid training

Training Outcome:
Possible opportunity to then complete a level 3 qualification Possible opportunity of a permanent position at our preschool

Leybourne Chase Preschool operates under the name Pippins Preschool. We are a small and friendly preschool with a beautiful large outside space. Our ethos encourages children to learn through play indoors and outdoors. We encourage children to be creative, messy, get stuck in, have a positive can do attitude and develop their critical thinking skills. We encourage children to be kind, independent and polite.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day. Shifts to be confirmed.
