Human Resources Apprentice

Providing admin support for all HR matters Taking first-line response to all phone queries and providing basic advice where appropriate Providing admin support for the recruitment process including drafting job adverts, CV screening, and scheduling interviews Processing letters, forms and reports in a timely manner Supporting managers with basic queries on policies and processes Handling confidential data with discretion and professionalism Maintaining and updating HR records and systems, ensuring accurate data entry Supporting the HR team with reviewing current processes and implementing ideas to improve our HR function Attending meetings as note taker and typing up any meeting notes as required Ensuring all internal HR processes and procedures are adhered to Undertaking any other duties necessary for the effective operation of the department consistent with the nature of the post Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training

Training:

Working towards your HR Support Level 3 Qualification, you’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including business fundamentals, legislation & policies, role fundamentals, and HR service fundamentals. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.



Training Outcome:

As with any apprenticeship opportunity – if you prove yourself to be a valuable member of the team there is a strong chance of a permanent post within the business.
