Level 6 Technical Planning Apprentice
The Technical Planning Department oversees a unique range of products and processes within the Interior trim centre. In this role, you will gain supervision and training in the following areas:
Series planning – the implementation of manufacturing techniques to create a robust production system. Structure planning – business needs analysis to shape the future of the production system. Project planning - develop and integrate future products and materials. Logistic planning - provide material flow analysis to enable idealistic product deliveries.Tasks and responsibilities:
Planning and delivering best practice solutions to improve efficiency. Establish a Lean Manufacturing Environment Create instructions of work. Strategical analysis of future volume demands and their impact on the production system. Scenario and realisation planning. Industrialisation of production processes for new Rolls-Royce Interior parts. Responsible for the development and integration of interior trim parts, from raw materials through to finished products.Training:
The academic aspect of the apprenticeship will be delivered on a day release basis and ultimately result in BEng Mechanical Engineering degree if successfully completed.
