Mechanical Engineering Apprentice

During the scheme, you will complete placements within engineering and operations, designed to be flexible to support your career objectives and development and meet business need. Hands on practical learning Involved in technical / delivery meetings Work towards business apprenticeship combined projects Logbook entries related to business placement. Highly regulated environment Safety and security conscious organisation.

Working week options: a) The standard 37 hours must be worked Monday to Friday inclusive each week b) Bandwidth of 7.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive c) Core hours of 10.00am - 12.00pm and 1.30pm - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday 10.00am - 12.00pm Friday d) Floating lunchtime 12.00pm - 1.30pm daily, at least 30 minutes to be taken for lunch.

Training:
Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Standard https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/engineering-manufacturing-technician-v1-3 Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths as required A combination of day release, delivery of Technical Certificate and in-house training to gain knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Training Outcome:
Open to both full time employment or progression to higher apprenticeship / further training depending on the candidate
