Environmental Management Apprentice - Reading

You'll gain the expertise to;

Assist in identifying the environmental risks associated with capital projects.  Suggest appropriate next steps to manage the risks identified.  Highlight opportunities for biodiversity enhancement.  Ensure projects are delivered sustainably and consider low carbon delivery methods.  Liaise with environmental regulators to ensure they are satisfied with our activities.  Identify opportunities where improvements could be made.   Collaborate with environmental colleagues to ensure a joined up and consistent approach.    Carry out site visits with senior colleagues to ensure compliance.    Provide environmental technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle. 

Training:

You will attend 2 x 3 day block release per semester on campus at university, with the rest of delivery taking place virtually. 

Upon completion of the programme you will achieve an Environmental Practitioner Apprenticeship & BSC (Hons) Environmental Management degree and apprenticeship standard.



Training Outcome:
A possible permanent role, depending on circumstances.
