Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant

Delivery of customer service Dispensing of medication to patients under supervision Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data Entry relating to medication Labelling and Dispensing Accuracy and Attention to detail Numerate Working within a team environment Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals

Training:

Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship standard, which includes: 

End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training

Training schedule has yet to be agreed. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. Details will be made available at a later date. 



Training Outcome:
Full-time permanent role for the right person Further potential for other training such as a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship

A pharmacy based in Bradford are hoping to recruit a hardworking and determined candidate to work within their small team of qualified professionals, as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 9.00am to 6:30pm. Some Saturday work required on rotation, 9.00am to 1.00pm.
