Electro-mechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship

Embark on a five-year (not including end-point assessment) electro-mechanical engineering degree apprenticeship with hands-on experience working on cutting-edge projects. You’ll work with diverse teams across the business through six-month placements while studying part-time at the University of Nottingham for a fully-funded BEng (Hons) in Electro-mechanical Engineering. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, E.ON will continue to support you in achieving chartered status.

During the programme, you'll have the opportunity to select placements based on your interests and career goals, like:

Designing sustainable district heating systems to help decarbonise cities. Collaborating with clients on pioneering solar energy projects, supporting their shift to renewable energy. Optimising the performance of critical assets to enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions. Working on advanced technologies such as hydrogen production, heat pumps, and carbon capture solutions.

Training:

Your base location will be our Nottingham office. We operate a hybrid working model, so depending on placements you will be expected in the office 1-3 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home on other days. Company-funded travel will be required, and you may have placement opportunities at other E.ON sites across the UK.



Training Outcome:
Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
