Early Years Apprentice

Nacton and Bucklesham Under Fives is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to join our dedicated team. The role involves assisting in the care, development, and education of children under statutory school age in a safe, nurturing, and creative environment.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities. Helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children. Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and physical development. Supporting outdoor play and activities in our well-equipped garden space. Building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff. Adhering to all safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

This role is integral to our preschool, providing a supportive environment for young children to flourish while allowing the apprentice to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

Training:
Early Years Practitioner Standard Level 2 Early Years Practitioner  English and Maths (if required) level 2

Training Outcome:
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities for permanent employment or progression to further qualifications in Early Years education.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, opening hours of the preschool are 8:45am to 3:30pm. Specific hours may vary depending on preschool requirements.
