Junior Level 3 ICT Apprentice
We are seeking an enthusiastic junior ICT apprentice to deliver managed IT services for Windows and Mac environments. This role offers hands-on learning, combining real-world experience with structured training as part of an 18-month apprenticeship program. The ideal candidate should be passionate about technology, proactive in solving issues, and able to adapt communication to suit the audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Desk Support:
Respond to service requests and incidents via phone, in-person, or remote tools Log and update service tickets with clear and concise informationEscalate unresolved tickets to senior staff as needed
Technical Tasks:
Troubleshoot root causes of issues to prevent recurring problems- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Adobe), and hardware (e.g., desktops, printers, and network devices) Manage IT assets across internal and client sites
Customer Interaction:
Deliver excellent customer service, adjusting technical language to suit client knowledge levels Communicate effectively to ensure client satisfaction and issue resolutionProcess Improvement:
Follow and contribute to the refinement of IT processes and proceduresTraining:
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
ICT (Information Communications Technician) level 3 apprenticeship standard You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills Your training will include gaining a level 3 IT qualificationTraining Outcome:
