Engineering Apprentice
Tasks to include:
Preparing work area for component or assembly task; sourcing required resources, tools and equipment. Carry out relevant planning and preparation activities. Checking tools during and after task completion. Communicating with colleagues or customers (internal or external). Restoring the work area on completion of the activity and house keeping.Training:
Level 3 Engineering Fitter Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths if required One day a week for theory and practice in Langley College
Training Outcome:
Possibly permanent employment. Also, an opportunity to develop skills within a CNC environment. Some of our team have 40+ years of skills and experiences to share. We cover a wide range of areas across CNC including, Turning, Milling, Grinding, Gear Cutting, Non-destructive testing and Quality Inspection. This is also a fantastic opportunity to get exposure within a growing Aerospace environment. The individua(s)l will have exposure to working with New Product Introduction also.

The nature of the work is small to medium batch with medium to high complexity. The primary focus of this position is to work with the Milling and Turning teams to drive safety, quality and delivery, exceeding our customer’s expectations.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
