Cable Jointing & Installation: Assist in the preparation, installation, and jointing of high-voltage and low-voltage cables, ensuring they are correctly connected, insulated, and meet all technical standards Substation & Network Build: Support the design and construction of electrical substations, distribution networks, and connections for renewable energy projects such as solar farms and battery storage systems Maintenance & Repair: Learn to maintain and repair electrical cables and equipment, ensuring continuous safe operation and optimal performance of distribution systems Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict health and safety protocols and ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis: Assist with diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical distribution systems, using testing equipment to identify issues and ensure rapid resolution Training & Development: Participate in structured apprenticeship training, gaining knowledge and practical skills in cable jointing techniques, electrical systems, and renewable energy technologies Documentation & Reporting: Assist in recording work activities, maintaining accurate project documentation, and reporting progress to senior engineers and supervisors Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards Learning New Techniques: Continuously improve your technical expertise in cable jointing and power distribution systems by participating in hands-on learning and technical workshops
