Machining Technician L3 Apprenticeship
Key Responsibilities -Learn to read and interpret technical drawings -Follow safety protocols and ensure that parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards -Learn about and perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, drilling, grinding, and polishing materials. -Learn to set up, operate and maintain machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and CNC (Computer Numerical Control equipment. -Ensure parts are made to precise specifications and tolerances. -Troubleshoot machine malfunctions -Perform routine maintenance -Understanding quality control and inspection methods -Verifying dimensions and quality of the components being produced This role combines hands-on experience with formal learning, allowing the apprentice to gain a deep understanding of machining processes, techniques, and tools used to manufacture precision parts and components.
