L3 IT Technical Engineer Apprentice
You will work under the guidance of experienced mentors and support a variety of IT operations, including:
Server Hardware Support: Maintain and troubleshoot HPE and Dell servers in a multi-vendor environment Data Centre Support: Perform cabling activities (installation, termination, patching, testing) with various cable types like CAT-5e, CAT-6, and fibre optics Data Centre Facilities Management: Handle Install, Moves, and Changes (IMAC) requests, along with decommissioning tasks. Client Support: Escort external vendors, manage access requirements, and assist with goods in/out Customer Site Work: Based in Lewisham, you will have occasional site visits to London DocklandsTraining:
Fully funded L3 IT Solutions Technician apprenticeship with HPE CDS and LearnTech.
Typical duration to gateway: 13 months (followed by up to 3 months for the End Point Assessment (EPA) period)
Apprenticeship level: Advanced (Level 3)

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with LearnTech, delivered through combined weekly live remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the L3 IT Solutions Technician standard.

Training Outcome:
After successful completion of your apprenticeship, there are opportunities to transition into roles such as Infrastructure Support Specialist and the chance to join the 24x7 shift teams.
