Operations Transport Apprentice
Support the planning and scheduling of deliveries and collections to meet customer and business needs
Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and resolve issues as they arise
Ensure all transport activities adhere to legal requirements and company policies, including health and safety standards
Maintain accurate records of driver hours, vehicle checks, and deliveries
Liaise with customers regarding delivery times and requirements
Handle inquiries and provide updates on the status of shipments
Monitor fleet performance and escalate issues such as delays or vehicle breakdowns
Assist in the maintenance of the transport management system
Participate in on-the-job training and shadow experienced team members
Complete assignments and coursework as required for the apprenticeship program
Training:
Traffic Operator Level 2.
The training is delivered virtually and will be given on site.
Training Outcome:
Potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
8.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday
