Aeronautical Engineering Technician Apprentice (Avionics)

As an apprentice Aeronautical Engineering Technician (Avionics), you will:

Carry out hands-on technical electrical maintenance activities on live aircraft Aid in equipment disassembly/ assembly and installations Enhance your fault-finding and diagnostic abilities

Over the course of our three-year programme, you will study towards your Level 3 Diploma (accredited by City & Guilds) whilst acquiring the knowledge, skills and competence to operate at the level of a Category A technician alongside our adept team of Avionics Technicians who will offer guidance and mentorship.

Training:

The training will be delivered by Fareham College at the CEMAST campus, an Ofsted Outstanding College. Your training will be delivered day release, and you will attend CEMAST. The schedule of this day release is to be confirmed, site address is 1 Meteor Way, Lee-On-The-Solent PO13 9FU.

Training Outcome:

Permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Days: Monday - Friday Hours per day: 8 Hours (Monday - Thursday), 5 hours (Friday), working hours TBC
