Apprenticeship - Laboratory Technician - Necropsy

Performing routine macroscopic necropsy techniques for all species Trimming and retaining all organs from all species Performing non-routine tasks such as freezing tissues Preparation of reagents and sample processing for skeletal examinations Routine analysis of sperm and computer aided sperm analyser operation

Training:
You'll undertake a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship with HNC in Applied Science over the course of 24 months You will study for a Level 4 Science Qualification alongside the apprenticeship Distance based learning  1 Week lab based residential each year

Training Outcome:

Our aim during the 2-year programme is to produce confident competent scientific technicians with the core skills to allow them to develop a career within the company. We then offer the option to progress to both a Level 5 or Level 6 Degree qualification or beyond to a Masters Qualification.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm, May work some weekends and evening overtime on rota.
