Apprentice Fabricator Welder

Read and interpret engineering drawings Assemble components by welding them together Ensure finished welds are of a good standard and the required size Use a variety of tools, welding equipment and overhead travelling cranes Implementation and adhering to all health and safety policies and complete all paperwork relating to health and safety

Training:
You will attend Hopwood Hall College on a day-release basis, completing your Level 3 qualification over 48 months You will follow a learning plan in the workplace, supported by a mentor Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)

Training Outcome:
Once qualified, you will become a Fabricator Welder and depending on your progress you might have the opportunity to become a foreman

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday (8.00am - 16:30pm). Friday (8:00am - 1:00pm). Candidates who are over 18 may be eligible to work condensed hours.
