Civil Engineer Apprentice - Highways

Duties will include:

Preparing engineering drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software to design highways including roads, footways and signage and lining Assisting with arranging and undertaking site surveys Assisting with preparing contract, site and works information Assisting the engineering and technician team with all aspects of the design phase and also including opportunities for some site attendance during the construction phase On the job learning of industry standard design codes to develop quality, sustainable and safe solutions to meet the client’s brief Working for local authority and private sector clients on projects throughout the UK

Training:

You will attend college 1 day a week based at Future Kills, Salford, M50 2PU

Training Outcome:

To move into a permanent role in the company and take on further training if this fits the company and employee visions

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday - shifts to be confirmed 37 hours per week
