Engineering Operative Apprentice
Duties include:
Machinst - Working on manual machines, this is a very busy area of manufacturing and a skill the company needs for continuity and future growth Gear cutting - a process very specific to Renold Gears involving cutting the teeth of the worm & Helical wheels. Machines are specific to this industry and there is a lot of technical aspects to how the gears are produced. Machines are a mixture of manual and CNC Assembly Fitter - Would be part of a team that assembles gearboxes. Engineering Operative level 2 Work based training to include one day per month in the training centre

Working Hours :
Days and shifts to be confirmed. Total hours per week: 37.00 Shifts include: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm, Friday - 7.30am - 12.30pm. Start and finish times would be RTAs for the first 4-6 months 8.30am to 4.30pm.
