Engineering Operative Apprentice

Duties include:

Machinst - Working on manual machines, this is a very busy area of manufacturing and a skill the company needs for continuity and future growth Gear cutting - a process very specific to Renold Gears involving cutting the teeth of the worm & Helical wheels. Machines are specific to this industry and there is a lot of technical aspects to how the gears are produced. Machines are a mixture of manual and CNC Assembly Fitter - Would be part of a team that assembles gearboxes. These can range from standard gearboxes to bespoke units that are complex and unique builds As an apprentice with Renold Gears, you’ll be part of an organisation that is committed to supporting you through a career pathway which will allow you to earn a salary while working

Training:
Engineering Operative level 2 Work based training to include one day per month in the training centre

Training Outcome:
Progress into a permanent position.

Working Hours :
Days and shifts to be confirmed. Total hours per week: 37.00 Shifts include: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm, Friday - 7.30am - 12.30pm. Start and finish times would be RTAs for the first 4-6 months 8.30am to 4.30pm.
