They are responsible for conducting research, analysing data, identifying gaps and trends in their findings, and subsequently sharing recommendations with the broader organisation to enhance processes and products
They collaborate closely with and have constant communication with senior stakeholders within the business and external brokers and therefore are a highly people facing team
They act as experts in finding solutions to market problems
Have a profound impact of the business’ direction of travel
Develop an understanding of the insurance industry and its nuances
Confidently interact with internal stakeholders to uncover their opinions of and issues with working practices
Support in conducting efficient market research to inform insights and recommendations for the wider business
Utilise statistical tools to analyse varied data sets - facilitating the identification of trends
Concisely communicate findings via reports and presentations
Create, develop and maintain data dashboards to monitor the performance of propositions
Ensure all data recorded is accurate to comply with business standards
Collaborate effectively alongside other departments to assist Markel in their pursuit of excellence
