Civil Engineering Apprentice

Candidates will be required to build a knowledge of civil engineering and will possess an interest in developing and progressing a career in the engineering consultancy. Reporting to a Senior Technician/Engineer to assist with the delivery of a range of engineering infrastructure and environmental improvement projects for flood, coastal management, railways, reservoirs, highways and green engineering. Working with clients across the public, private and third sectors, candidates will assist our engineering teams with the development and delivery of asset inspections, options appraisals, concept designs and detailed scheme designs.

Training:
BSc/BEng Civil Engineering Apprenticeship Standard Level 6. Apprenticeship training will be provided by Nottingham Trent University.  On completion the apprentice will have fully satisfied the requirements for registration as an Incorporated Engineer by the relevant professional engineering institution.

Working Hours :
JBA supports agile working which provides for greater flexibility with the way that we work. The standard working week is Monday to Friday; 8.30am - 5.00pm.
