Dispensing of medication to patients under supervision Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Rotation of stock Use of pharmacy software Data Entry relating to medication Labelling and Dispensing Working within a team environment Any other duties required by the manager

Training:
Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualifcation Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] Dispensing Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training

Training Outcome:
For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualification such as the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician.

High Street Pharmacy are a community pharmacy located in Cheadle. They offer the following services: New Medicine Service (NHS) NHS Blood Pressure Check Service NHS Health Check Stop smoking service (NHS) Stop smoking voucher service (NHS) Appointment booking for consultations not required Multi-lingual staff Other health professionals onsite Private consultation room Seasonal flu vaccination service: at-risk groups (NHS) Seasonal flu vaccination service: not at-risk groups (paid-for) Travel clinic (paid for) Walk-in COVID-19 vaccination service

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday (Saturdays will be worked on a rota basis). Shifts to be confirmed.
