Position: Head Housekeeper Specialisation: Housekeeping
Shift Pattern: 25 hours per week | Nights only | 12-hour shifts. Pay Rate: £23,587.20 per annum / £12.60 per hour
Responsibilities:
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home.
Supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping team.
Ensure all cleaning schedules and procedures are followed.
Monitor equipment and stock, reporting any issues or shortages.
Work with the maintenance team to address any damages or repairs.
Conduct regular audits of cleaning standards and staff performance.
Hold staff meetings and monitor the completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Prior management experience in housekeeping, preferably within a care setting.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control protocols.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
This is a permanent role and not an agency contract.
