Position: Night shift - Care Team Leader (Permanent) Specialisation: Night shift team leader
Shift Pattern: Full time | 8pm – 8am Pay Rate: £31,668 per annum / £14.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the care team throughout the night, ensuring effective handovers, providing guidance, and being a positive role model.
Manage night rotas, ensuring adequate staffing levels and appropriate skill mix.
Maintain clear and effective communication with the home management team, addressing concerns promptly.
Conduct and lead nightly team meetings, providing feedback and support to staff.
Oversee medication management, including the receipt and administration of medications.
Qualifications and Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Significant experience in a similar setting, with a solid understanding of dementia and elderly care.
Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising and appraising staff.
Knowledge of medication management and adherence to safety protocols.
This is a permanent role and not an agency contract.
