IT EUC Field Engineer

Role:           IT Field Support Engineer Location:    Field Based  Skills:          Desktop support, End-User support, Windows, MS Office, Active Directory Salary:        £190 to £215/day (Inside IR35)Type:           Contract - 6 months  My client requires 2 IT Field Support Engineers on an initial fixed term basis to provide desktop support across multiple sites in a face-to-face and remote environment.

You will be troubleshooting issues reported by end users, in order to understand the problem and provide fixes in a timely manner.  The Support Engineers will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as having worked in a 2nd line support capacity previously across multiple sites and an end user base of 10,000+ people ideally.  Key responsibilities include:Undertake typical break fix and support activities on all end user related infrastructure, both on-site and remotely, as required including general maintenance and system upgradesEnsure that issues are logged, reported and fixed - meeting set SLA'sOut of hours support where necessarySupport the delivery of major projects and change programmesTravelling to sites when requiredSufficiently support the Service Desk to ensure that SLAs are metYour experience will include:A minimum of 3 years experience supporting end users, in a face-to-face and remote environmentDesktop support experience to 2nd and/or 3rd line levelExperienced with technologies such asWindowsMS OfficeActive DirectoryVirtualisation - VMware/HyperVLAN/WANExperienced supporting users across multiple sitesCandidates must be willing to travel to sites, and will require a drivers license and vehicle to be able to perform this role.
